Navigant's Nulty Retiring
Thomas Nulty, president and COO of Navigant International Inc., today announced plans to retire at year-end. Navigant chairman and CEO Edward Adams on Jan. 1 will assume the presidency.
"Thom was instrumental in the national and international branding of Navigant, resulting in its worldwide recognition as an industry leader," Adams said.
Nulty's 35-year travel industry career included nearly 20 years with American and Continental airlines until 1984, when he became president of Santa Ana, Calif.-based Associated Travel. Navigant acquired Associated Travel in 1997, and two years later Nulty became the company's president and COO.
"Being part of the team that grew Navigant into the second-largest travel management company in North America has been tremendously fulfilling and the highlight of my career," Nulty said.
