Meeting and event sourcing and management platform Groupize recently added the ability for single sign-on for clients, CEO Charles de Gaspe Beaubien told BTN, so that users don't have to log into multiple systems individually. For many corporations, there's a single sign-on for Concur. "It's a pretty interesting phenomenon now that corporations are integrating their travel portal with our meeting portal," he said. The company had tested it with a few clients during the past four months. The move was spurred by a desire to make it easier for employees to access the service as well as to enhance clients' tech security control.
The company also plans to expand soon beyond offering just hotels in its system. "Up to now, Groupize has been focused on hotels only," de Gaspe Beaubien said. "Now we are adding restaurants, [non-hotel] venue spaces and conference space at corporate headquarters." He expects the option for non-hotel venues to launch by the first of the year. The company still is building the functionality.
