Cloud-based travel platform Spotnana has launched a new service for executives and other VIP travelers, Seat 1A, that provides personalized attention via a team of senior customer experience agents, founder and CEO Sarosh Waghmar announced in a blog post on Thursday.
Among its services, Seat 1A provides personalized booking including chartering private jets or yachts, reserving black cars and renting villas, Waghmar said. Within Spotnana's booking tool, Seat 1A users can access an optional digital request form to reach Seat 1A agents, and users also have exclusive email, chat and phone channels to reach agents.
Other services include trip management, such as assisting with disruption and waitlist monitoring for sold-out flights, and acquiring premium services including upgrades and early check-in and late check-out at hotels.
"Although many travel management companies offer a VIP traveler program, our technology enables us to deliver a service experience like no one else," Waghmar wrote in the blog post. "We're uniquely able to save travelers valuable time and provide a personalized service experience because our agents have instant access to profiles, policies, trips, negotiated rates, preferred properties, unused tickets, and more, all at their fingertips."
Spotnana will charge a flat rate per trip for the service, with no additional fees for contacting agents regardless of trip changes, he said.
