Leadership changes are underway at Philadelphia-based travel management company World Travel Inc. CEO Liz Mandarino will transition from her role on Jan. 1. to serve as the agency's board chair. Mandarino's 34-year career at WTI included more than a decade in the CEO role.
Industry veteran Barbara Barnard, who joined the company 18 months ago as EVP business development and marketing will replace Mandarino in the role. Barnard spent nearly two decades at CWT until 2021, with her most recent role as managing director.
Pam Zager, who has been chief operating officer since March, according to her LinkedIn profile, will add president to her role. Mandarino will stay close to the new leadership for a smooth transition period, according to a company statement.
