U.K.-based travel management company ATPI has added 13 new service locations and made two new executive appointments to its global network team.
The new locations, added over the past year, include Buenos Aires-based Via Nova, Ubico Viajes Corporativos in Spain, Melcom Travel and Tours in Ghana, Rickshaw Travels in Tanzania and Quang Thinh Trading & Travel Co. in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. ATPI's total global network currently covers more than 100 service locations in 75 markets, according to the TMC.
Expanding that network "continues to be a core area of investment for our business," according to ATPI CEO Ian Sinderson. "Our growing Africa expertise, for example, is industry-leading, and we are excited to further increase our presence across other continents."
Jeroen van Hest
The TMC—whose focus areas include corporate travel, marine and energy businesses, sports and corporate event management—also named Michel Habich to oversee that growing network as its international network director. Habich has been with ATPI for 15 years, most recently as network business development manager.
In addition, ATPI named Jeroen van Hest, who had been its international network director, as global head of corporate development, in charge of long-term business strategies, planning, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and reporting.
