The Association of Corporate Travel Executives has suspended its operations through May, according to a statement posted on the association's website Monday. The statement cited the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic's negative impact on travel demand.
"Travel demand has sharply declined in this environment, and because of the impact this is having across the travel industry, we will be suspending our operations through May," the statement said. "This will allow us to position the organization to manage through these difficult times and move forward when the situation has stabilized."
The association said it will continue to work to identify a new date and venue for the ACTE New York and Singapore Global Summits later this year.
