G6 Hospitality has signed an agreement with Natson Hotel Group to develop and open 18 Studio 6 Plus properties across the United States, the company announced Monday.
Studio 6 Plus is G6's new extended-stay brand, launched last month. The brand, to be made up of new-construction properties instead of conversions, sits in the upper-economy segment and is an extension of the existing Studio 6 extended-stay brand.
The 18 new properties will be located in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida and other markets "experiencing strong extended-stay demand driven by corporate relocations, healthcare facilities and manufacturing growth," according to G6.
Natson Hotel Group is a full-service management company based in McDonough, Ga., that operates more than 100 hotels, including more than 75 properties under G6's Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands. Development is expected to kick off this month with the first Studio 6 Plus hotels opening early next year, according to G6.
G6 has been on an expansion streak so far in 2026 having added 35 new Studio 6 properties during the first quarter and signaled its intention to move into the midprice extended-stay tier with the appointment of an ex-Wyndham Hotels & Resorts exec to lead the charge.
