G6 Hospitality has launched a new iteration of its Studio 6 extended-stay brand, called Studio 6 Plus, the company announced Wednesday.
Positioned in the "upper economy segment," according to the company, Studio 6 Plus development will focus on new-construction properties rather than conversions. All hotels will include an interior corridor that, according to G6, "provides enhanced privacy and a safer, more residential feel" for solo travelers, women and families.
Other Studio 6 Plus brand standards include kitchens with full-size refrigerators, stoves and microwaves; storage and closet spaces; "commercial-grade" guest laundry facilities; in-room smart TVs; and digital check-in. Each property will have 60 to 150 rooms and target an average daily rate of $75 to $90 in most markets, according to G6 Hospitality.
