Swiss International Air Lines and the Swiss Federal Railways, known as SBB, have expanded their joint network with the addition of Geneva Airport, the carrier announced Wednesday. The service, effective immediately, will enable passengers from New York John F. Kennedy International Airport to transfer via rail to Lausanne, Fribourg or Bern. Swiss plans to offer daily flights between JFK and Geneva for the upcoming winter season. Swiss Air Rail tickets also now are being issued with an SBB QR code for easier boarding, according to Swiss.
