GE Aerospace launched
a travel and expense program in 2024 after the legacy GE conglomerate separated
into three public companies—GE Vernova, GE Healthcare and GE Aerospace. Each
company now has a dedicated T&E program, including independent booking tools and
corporate card systems.
U.S.-booked air spend
for GE Aerospace last year came in at $43 million and is projected to increase
further in 2025 as the newly independent company looks to reposition itself in
the market. The company is now focused on modernizing its travel infrastructure to
improve the traveler experience and overall process efficiencies.
The company has
already harnessed internal AI tools to draft communications related to the
travel program. Its existing tech stack includes hotel and airline re-shopping
tools and virtual payment options.
The program is
consolidated with CWT and has a single online global booking system in all
countries, except for India, China, Japan and Turkey.
At the end of 2024, GE Aerospace had 53,000 employees,
including more than 27,000 in the U.S.
