Hertz reported third-quarter net income of $156.6 million,
compared with $64.5 million a year earlier.
Worldwide rental car revenues grew 8 percent year over year,
with particular strength in the U.S. and corporate markets, where revenues were
up 11 percent and 15 percent, respectively.
Executives said corporate rates remained largely flat year
over year.
