Stephen Ho
Hyatt Hotels Corp. has appointed Stephen Ho as group president of its Asia-Pacific region, effective Jan. 1, the company announced Monday.
Ho has been with Hyatt since 2018 and currently serves as president of Greater China and growth for Asia-Pacific. Prior to Hyatt, Ho helmed the Asia-Pacific region for Starwood Hotels & Resorts and acted as CEO of Greater China for Marriott International.
Ho will take over from David Udell, who has led the region since 2014 and plans to retire from the role on Dec. 31. Udell will continue as a senior advisor with Hyatt "focused on developing future hospitality leaders and supporting the company’s luxury ambitions," according to the company.
