Iberia launched an enhanced business class cabin for what it
terms its "longest medium-haul flights."
The first aircraft fitted with the new Business Club class
departed last week from Madrid to Malabo in Equatorial Guinea. The other
destinations that will be served are Cairo, Tel Aviv, Moscow and Lagos.
Business Club is pitched between Iberia's existing short-haul and long-haul
business class products, with a 50-inch seat pitch and 22-inch width.
Passengers in the 14-seat cabin also are issued a portable
PlayStation system for in-flight entertainment and are entitled to such ground
privileges as three days' free parking at Madrid or Barcelona airports.
