JetBlue Taps United's Corrigan For Revenue Mgmt. Post
JetBlue Airways today said it appointed former United Airlines executive Dennis Corrigan to serve as vice president of revenue management.
Corrigan, who most recently served as managing director of revenue management operations at United and also has held revenue management positions at American Airlines, will report to executive vice president and chief commercial officer Robin Hayes.
Corrigan joins the carrier as it transitions to the SabreSonic reservations platform from Navitaire, which the carrier has used since its launch.
JetBlue in February announced the SabreSonic platform transition to power the carrier's "reservations, departure control functions, inventory and booking engine capabilities." JetBlue said it expects to switch over to the new system in 2010, allowing it to partake in codeshare and interline agreements, expand ancillary revenue opportunities and enable other selling opportunities largely not allowed through Navitaire.
Corrigan takes on the position, formerly held by Richard Zeni, who transitions to lead JetBlue's transition to SabreSonic "over the next year."
