according to the companies. JAL filed an application with Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, while BA parent International Airlines Group "is in contact with the European Union," according to a statement. If their deal is approved, BA and JAL would share revenues and jointly plan services and set fares.
