The National Limousine Association has released hygienic protocols approved by and developed in collaboration with the Global Virus Network, an international coalition of medical virologists. The recommended protocols include thorough cleaning cycles with a hospital grade disinfectant for vehicles 30 minutes after completing a trip; the use of personal protective equipment for drivers as required by local, state and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations; mandatory glove use while handling luggage; making hand sanitizer or wipes available to all guests and drivers; and requiring all passengers to wear masks.
NLA did not include recommendations regarding the installation of "sneeze guards," a debated topic among operators.
