London-based chauffeured transportation supplier Addison Lee
has acquired New Jersey-based Flyte Tyme Worldwide Transportation, the
fourth-largest operator of executive cars in the U.S.
Flyte Tyme reports $65 million in annual sales and a fleet
of 425 vehicles in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and
California. Flyte Tyme CEO Timothy Rose will stay on as CEO of Addison Lee's
North America operations.
Addison
Lee has been expanding its footprint, including last year's acquisition
of Tristar Worldwide, which operates in the U.S., Asia/Pacific and France.
The Flyte Tyme acquisition will boost Addison Lee's annual revenue in North
America to more than $100 million and improve global sales to about $500
million. Addison Lee CEO Andy Boland said the acquisition combines Flyte Tyme's
North American presence with Tristar's global operations and Addison Lee's
digital booking platforms.
