Air Canada has selected Traverse to support direct corporate bookings through the carrier's new Embarq program for eligible Canadian small and midsize enterprises, Airlines Reporting Corp. announced earlier this month. ARC owns Traverse.
While Embarq companies now can apply corporate payment methods and travel policies to direct Air Canada bookings via Traverse, larger enterprise corporations will be able to include Air Canada direct bookings via Traverse "in the future," according to ARC.
Air Canada adds to Traverse's international roster of carriers. WestJet, also a Canadian airline, partnered in 2015—when Traverse was known as NuTravel—through a limited customized business product, according to ARC. Aeromexico joined in 2023, when the company rebranded to Traverse.
