Virgin Atlantic in early May will begin to roll out Starlink Wi-Fi on board its Airbus A350 fleet, with all such aircraft to be connected by early summer, the carrier announced Sunday.
When the carrier in July 2025 first announced it would install Starlink, installations initially were set to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
Once installations in the Airbus A350 aircraft are completed, Virgin Atlantic will equip Boeing 787 aircraft and Airbus A330neo fleets with the service, with full fleet coverage anticipated in 2027. The first route scheduled for Starlink Wi-Fi is London Heathrow-New York JFK.
The service will be free for Virgin Atlantic Flying Club loyalty program members.
