TAP Air Portugal, in partnership with Avianca, on March 21 opened a shared business-class lounge at Miami International Airport, TAP announced Friday. It is TAP Air Portugal's first airport lounge outside of Portugal, according to the airline.
The nearly 6,600-sq.-ft. lounge is located in the South Terminal near gate J4 and will be open 24 hours daily. It can accommodate up to 337 guests and offers showers, high-speed Wi-Fi, relaxation areas, dedicated workspaces, along with food and beverages.
The lounge is available to TAP, Avianca and Star Alliance passengers traveling in first and business class, TAP Miles&Go Navigator and Gold members, Avianca LifeMIles eligible Gold and Diamond members, and Star Alliance eligible Gold members. The lounge also accepts Priority Pass, and one-day passes can be purchased, subject to availability and capacity, according to TAP.
