New York's LaGuardia Airport will open a new arrivals and departures hall in Terminal B this weekend. The 850,000-sq.-ft., four-level hall will house ticket counters and baggage claim for Air Canada, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines. Its opening marks the 80 percent mark in terms of completion of the Terminal B project, which is slated for completion in 2022 and is part of an $8.2 billion transformation of the airport. Seven of 17 new gates in the terminal's western concourse are on track to open later this year, according to the project's developer, LaGuardia Gateway Partners.
