Hawaiian Airlines next month will begin offering drive-through Covid-19 testing in labs near Los Angeles and San Francisco airports, the carrier announced.
Hawaiian is working with Worksite Labs for the PCR testing, which will enable travelers to avoid a 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Hawaii. Travelers can either pay $90 for results within 36 hours or $150 for same-day express service.
The carrier estimates the testing will begin around Oct. 15, the same time United Airlines plans to start in-airport and mail-in testing at San Francisco for Hawaii-bound passengers. Hawaiian said testing locations at other U.S. mainland gateways are "coming soon."
