Flydubai has agreed to purchase 150 Airbus A321neo aircraft, valued at $24 billion, the carrier announced Tuesday at the Dubai Airshow. The deal includes an option for up to 100 additional planes. Deliveries are projected to begin in 2031.
In addition, Flydubai has selected the satellite-based Starlink to provide inflight connectivity across its fleet. The free service will be available on Flydubai's Boeing 737 aircraft, with installation for 100 planes to be rolled out in 2026, according to the carrier. Flydubai is partnered with Emirates, which on Monday announced it, too, would add complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi.
