Emirates has ordered eight additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft valued at $3.4 billion, the carrier announced Wednesday at the Dubai Airshow. The planes are projected to be delivered in 2031. The new order will bring Emirates' A350-900 fleet to 73 once all have been delivered. To date, the carrier has received 13 of the model.
Emirates on Monday announced an order for 65 additional Boeing 777-9 aircraft worth $38 billion.
