Delta Air Lines cancelled 300 flights Tuesday
morning as it continues to reset from a systemwide
operations shutdown on Monday that resulted in about 1,000 cancelled
flights that day. Delta expects additional delays and cancellations as it
remains in "recovery mode," said Dave Holtz, senior vice president of
operations and the customer center, and it extended its travel waiver for free
rebooking to cover Tuesday flights. Delta also is providing $200 travel vouchers
to travelers whose flights were canceled or delayed longer than three hours.
