Carriers are offering waivers for flight changes following
Friday's deadly shooting in the baggage claim area at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood
International Airport. The airport suspended all flight operations after the
shooting. Current waivers include:
American Airlines:
Friday and Saturday flights to and from Fort Lauderdale can be rebooked for
travel through Jan. 10 without charge. Passengers also can change their flight
plans to airports in Miami and West Palm Beach.
Delta: Friday and
Saturday flights to and from Fort Lauderdale can be rebooked without penalty
through Jan. 10.
JetBlue: Friday flights
to and from Fort Lauderdale can be rebooked without charge for travel through
Jan. 10.
United: Friday
flights to and from Fort Lauderdale can be rebooked without a change fee for travel
through Jan. 8.
