Alaska Airlines this summer will add new Anchorage routes and resume Fairbanks-Portland, Ore., service, the carrier announced Tuesday.
Beginning June 14, Alaska will launch roundtrip flights between Anchorage and each Detroit and Sacramento, Calif. Each route will operate on Saturdays using Boeing 737 aircraft. Service will end Aug. 16.
In addition, on May 15 the carrier will resume daily service between Fairbanks and Portland for the summer. Flights will operate through Aug. 19 using Embraer E175 aircraft, according to Alaska.
