Voice and conversational AI lab AiOla has received $25 million in a Series A2 round that includes United Airlines Ventures as a strategic investor, among others. The total brings the company's funding to date to $58 million.
United is exploring the use of AiOla's technology across various use cases to turn speech into structured data, according to the company. The platform takes spoken data, including in "noisy, multilingual and jargon-heavy environments," and handles "transcription, jargon recognition and data structuring," according to the technology company.
The platform's "jargon-specific automatic speech recognition engine" supports more than 100 languages, and "allows employees to interact naturally regardless of noise, accent or jargon," and logs structured data into back-end systems.
