Lufthansa has earned certification for the International Air Transport Association's One Order initiative, the first airline to achieve that designation. Under One Order, a single reference number spans a traveler's journey, enabling flight and ancillaries to be integrated under one booking reference number. With its IT service provider, Lufthansa Systems, the airline group has completed a year-long pilot in which offers and bookings were made solely on One Order and New Distribution Capability standards, according to Lufthansa.
