Maria Chevalier is Grasp Technologies' new CEO
Travel data management solution provider Grasp Technologies
today has named long-time corporate travel buyer Maria Chevalier as its new chief executive officer. Chevalier succeeds former CEO Chris Wilson, who held the role since June 2024.
In buyer roles, Chevalier led transformational global travel and expense
programs for Hewlett-Packard and Johnson & Johnson. While at J&J,
she was named Business Travel News’ Travel Manager of the Year in 2010 for her vision to consolidate that $1 billion-plus travel program. She
also held senior executive positions at Hilton and at BCD Travel, managing
business units with revenues up to $2 billion. She most recently served as the
travel manager for private equity company Pretium, where she was recognized for
her accomplishments in consolidating the travel data narrative across the firm’s
business portfolio.
Chevalier previously served on the Grasp board of directors
and has built a reputation for expertise in travel reporting, data strategy and
systems integration. She told BTN her initial goals were to continue the data
firm’s focus on innovation and client centricity.
“I am incredibly proud to join Grasp Technologies and lead
such a talented and passionate team,” she said. “Together, we will continue to
foster a culture of collaboration [and ensure] we not only meet but exceed the
evolving needs of our partners.”
