<B>Fond Farewell To Friends</B>
This long-time Business Travel News reader was deeply moved by the obituaries of Annika Ortmark-Sellebo and Bill Maritz, both with exceptional careers (BTN, March 12).
Not only were the obituaries well-detailed, but they were presented portraying warm, personal feelings for the individuals and their contributions to travel management. Such tender expressions are rare in business journals.
Bill Maritz's interest in "balancing high-tech with high-touch in customer service" says so much about business everywhere. Fascinated with technology, some of us have forgotten that people make the whole thing work.<I>
