BTN's 2000 International Travel Manager of the Year Earl Foster has joined BTN's 1999 Travel Manager of the Year Andy Menkes in making a true partnership of Partnership Travel Consulting, the travel management consulting firm that Menkes founded late last year.
Foster, the former president of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives who quickly built a state-of-the-art global travel operation for Seagram before its recent acquisition by Vivendi Universal, will be the consulting company's president and COO. Menkes, who blazed the trail to the first Airlines Reporting Corp.-accredited Corporate Travel Department as vice president of travel for Republic National Bank before it was acquired by HSBC Bank, will serve as chairman and CEO of the Princeton, N.J.-based consultancy. The firm will focus on global negotiations with travel suppliers, agencies and technology companies.
