Airport Parking Operator Offers Concierge Service
Airport parking service Park 'N Fly has begun offering concierge service to customers enrolled in its bonus program, which includes all travelers under corporate accounts.
Concierge services can include restaurant referrals and reservations, such information as stock quotes and movie listings and the ability to procure entertainment options, including golf course reservations and theater or sports tickets. There is no surcharge for the service.
The service was designed for members of Park 'N Fly's frequent parker program, which already offered such perks as accrued parking credits and express exit lanes. All corporations that have accounts with the supplier automatically are enrolled in the frequent parker program, said David Grocer, Park 'N Fly's senior vice president.
The Atlanta-based BCD Travel-owned company is offering the service at its locations nationwide, including those in Atlanta, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Oakland, Ontario and San Francisco. The plan is to offer the option for one year and extend it if it does well, Grocer said.
"We just launched it, and the initial reaction from members seems to be positive," Grocer said. "If we learn that they do value it, we'll continue to offer it."
Park 'N Fly said it provides its service to more than 2 million vehicles each year. About 70 percent to 80 percent of its customers are business travelers, including about 300 corporate accounts nationwide, Grocer said.
