Meetings and event tech company Bizzabo has added four additional executives to its management team, each to start with the company before the end of the month, according to a company spokesperson. The new hires join industry veteran Tim Bull, who Bizzabo added earlier this summer to head its expansion into Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Megan Murphy joins Bizzabo as VP of account management. She most recently was VP of digital sales and partnerships at Freeman Co., and previously worked at American Express Meetings & Events in various roles.
Devin Cleary, Bizzabo's new VP of global events, most recently served as VP of experiential marketing at technology firm PTC. He previously worked at HubSpot and the American Red Cross.
Sarah North has joined Cleary's team as director of event experiences. She previously held positions at Ellucian, Viacom, Live Nation, Shire and PTC. Murphy, Cleary and North are based in the United States.
Elijah Clark-Ginsberg joins Bizzabo as product manager. He previously was at HubSpot for eight years, where he managed the company's Inbound event. He is based in Germany.
In December 2020, the company raised $138 million in a Series E round. About six months later it made its first two acquisitions, X.ai and Whalebone. Earlier this month, Bizzabo partnered with Brightcove to offer clients integrated access to video technology.
