Gabriel Ayache, General Manager, Bizly
Palo Alto-based simple meetings platform Bizly has bolstered its leadership staff in advance of projected increased meeting demand in 2022.
Former American Express Global Business Travel executive Gabriel Ayache has joined the team as general manager, a new position. While at GBT, Ayache was involved in the acquisition and integration of several software apps like KDS, Neo and 30SecondsToFly. In his new role at Bizly, Ayache will concentrate largely on market development.
Ayache will work directly with founder and CEO Ron Shah and Kevin Iwamoto, whose role has shifted from chief strategy officer to chief customer officer. Iwamoto will handle both corporate clients and industry relations in his new role. Bizly also promoted Bryan Plofsky to director of customer success from customer lead.
