Travel technology add-on Tripkicks has launched a new platform to guide traveler decisions throughout their trip, drawing from corporate travel data and behavioral science, the company said.
The Tripkicks Catalyst platform was designed to present information and guidance to travelers that most likely will drive them to behavior that meets company goals, according to Tripkicks. It begins with pre-trip guidance on preferred suppliers and policies, prompts travelers to make optimal decision when booking and informs them of what went well and what needs improving after a trip.
The platform integrates with major online booking tools as well as communication programs including Slack, Teams and email.
What is communicated is adjusted based on the behaviors of individual travelers and overall company travelers, according to Tripkicks. For example, travelers taking their first trip get more messaging around education and orientation, while travelers who violate policy repeatedly get "escalating guidance," the company said. The platform also can determine when communicating data, such as preferred supplier adoption, will strengthen a guidance method and not include it when that is not the case.
The platform provides guidance to travel managers as well, with analysis of traveler behavior against program goals and guidance on where there are improvement opportunities, according to Tripkicks.
"Companies get proven approaches that work from day one, with clear measurement that makes it easy to demonstrate program value to stakeholders," Tripkicks CEO Jeff Berk said in a statement. "The system sees where the program is slipping and works to drive behavior change with specific travelers to close that gap."
