Ovation Travel Group has rolled out enhanced duty-of-care capabilities designed to help corporate travel managers deal with risk stemming from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Dubbed Travel Lifetime Care, the suite of services includes Ovation Safety Check, which the travel management company described as a tool to provide client travelers with a "substantially amplified level of dedicated care" throughout a trip.
At time of booking, Safety Check provides corporate travelers and managers with itinerary-specific information on quarantine requirements and travel restrictions at the traveler's destination as well as health and safety protocols and guidelines for all booked air, rail, hotel and rental car suppliers. Before and during the trip, Safety Check provides alerts regarding any relevant changes to safety protocols, such as flight capacity, hotel face covering rules and destination quarantine requirements.
Along with the new Safety Check program, TLC includes Covid-19-specific enhancements to Ovation's existing duty-of-care offerings, such as automated trip and traveler tracking alerts and the TMC's OTECH risk dashboard tool, to which Ovation has added Covid-19 infection rate data.
