Johnson Downie VP of travel and business services Christle
Johnson was re-elected as president of the Global Business Travel Association at
this summer's GBTA conference. GBTA travel buyer members also voted in Oracle
director of global travel sourcing and global procurement officer Rita Visser as
VP. GBTA's supplier members elected Festive Road managing partner Paul Tilstone
as an allied board member at large.
Johnson reappointed Dav El/Boston Coach Chauffeured
Transportation Network president and CEO Scott Solombrino as Allied Leadership
Council president. Solombrino, in turn, reappointed Best Western Hotels &
Resorts chief marketing officer Dorothy Dowling as ALC VP.
The GBTA Chapter President's Council elected Freeman director
of travel and meetings Gloria Gonzalez as president of the CPC. Solombrino, Dowling and Gonzalez also
will also sit on the GBTA board. Enterprise Holdings director of business
rental sales John Hampton was re-elected as VP of CPC, and LTD Hospitality
Group corporate director of sales development Samantha Bean as secretary and treasurer.
All will serve two-year terms.
