Collinson—which offers 24/7 medical assistance and evacuations for travelers via platforms in the U.K., Ireland and South Africa—now offers services from Aspen Medical, which provides defense, mining, energy, government and humanitarian organization clients with paramedics, medical teams, ambulances, medical facilities, pharmacy products, mobile health, surgery and evacuation by air, as well asmedical training and support for events. It operates in Australia, the Pacific, the U.S., Europe, Africa and the Gulf region. Collinson head of assistance Scott Sunderman cited Aspen's operation of a trauma hospital in Mosul, Iraq, for the World Health Organization; a UN facility in Somalia; and construction and management of Ebola facilities in Sierra Leone and Liberia for the U.K., U.S., Australia and New Zealand governments. Collinson, which handles more than 1.2 million calls and over 3,000 repatriations and evacuations a year, aims to use its suite of travel risk services to build duty of care solutions for clients that have employees working outside their home countries.
