Longtime travel management company executive and industry consultant Dee Runyan has joined ABC Global Services as executive vice president of hotel relations, charged with managing and growing the hotel program provider's global partnership network of more than 50,000 properties.
A longtime corporate travel veteran, Runyan has held senior management positions including COO for CorpTrav, president of World Travel Inc., executive vice president of the Americas for Radius and executive vice president at BCD Travel. Most recently, she was a senior vice president with Partnership Travel Consulting.
Runyan is assuming leadership of ABC's hotel network from Klayton Killion, who recently announced his retirement after 26 years with the company. Killion will remain with ABC through the end of March to help ensure a smooth transition.
Earlier this week, ABC announced a strategic partnership with travel management consortium International Travel Partnership to offer ITP's TMC network partners access to ABC's hotel program, consulting services and technology.
