Average daily rate, occupancy and revenue per available room at U.S. hotels in April each posted year-over-year gains, according to STR hospitality data from CoStar.
The growth metrics build on positive performances seen in February and March. April RevPAR increased 4.4 percent year over year to $107.73, bolstered by a 2.8 percent increase in ADR to $165.90 and a 1.6 percent bump in occupancy to 64.9 percent.
RevPAR in 20 of STR's top 25 markets increased year over year. St. Louis recorded the largest year-over-year growth in RevPAR (13.8 percent to $93.41) and occupancy (6.2 percent to 67.9 percent), while Miami posted the largest increase in ADR (12.5 percent to $283.34).
