Average daily rate, occupancy and revenue per available room at U.S. hotels in March each recorded significant year-over-year gains, according to STR hospitality data from CoStar.
The March performance continues the positive trend seen in February data and marks some of the strongest year-over-year growth figures since 2024.
RevPAR rose 5.9 percent year over year to $108.99, driven by a 3.8 percent increase in ADR to $168.06 and a 2 percent bump in occupancy to 64.9 percent.
San Francisco posted double-digit year-over-year gains in ADR (23.5 percent to $267.64), occupancy (12.4 percent to 74.8 percent) and RevPAR (38.8 percent to $200.06), boosted by several major conferences.
Las Vegas recorded the second-largest gains in ADR (up 17.4 percent to $235.74) and RevPAR (up 23 percent to $193.04). RevPAR in 19 of STR's top 25 increased year over year.
