The first @Home by Best Western in the U.S. has opened in St. George, Utah, BWH Hotels announced Tuesday.
BWH opened the first @Home by Best Western property in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada, in October last year after launching the brand at its annual convention in 2022.
"This development reflects the rising demand for well-designed, long-term accommodations that combine comfort and flexibility and deliver the kind of practical spaces travelers now look for across every stay type," BWH Hotels SVP and chief development officer Brad LeBlanc said in a statement.
The new-build St. George property features 92 apartment-style studios with kitchens, workspaces and social patios. The hotel also offers a pool, a fitness center and storage spaces for bikes and skis.
BWH said it expects the @Home global brand pipeline to reach 34 hotels with nearly 2,800 total rooms by the end of 2026. The next property is slated to open in Atlanta in late 2026.
The rest of the extended-stay sector in the U.S. is seeing strong expansion, with supply growth up 5.1 percent year over year during the fourth quarter of 2025, according to The Highland Group.
