Canadian travel management company Maritime Travel has rejoined GlobalStar Travel Management as a partner in its network, the travel management organization announced.
Halifax-based Maritime was a founding member of GlobalStar when it launched in 2001 but left in 2009, according to an organization spokesperson. The partnership "significantly" strengthens GlobalStar's network in Canada and provides "a real endorsement of our strategy to see one of our founding members rejoin," according to GlobalStar CEO James Stevenson.
GlobalStar reports operations covering more than 2,500 locations in more than 55 countries.
