Location and History
The Alda Hotel, part of the Iceland Hotel Collection by Berjaya, has a style of its own. It's conveniently located on one of Reykjavik's main shopping streets, the Icelandic version of Fifth Avenue.
The street is long, and the hotel is located on the far end where things are a bit quieter. To reach the city center, it's about a 15-minute walk. The name Alda means ocean wave in Icelandic, but there are no sea views from this location.
