Location and History
This elegant, yet rustic lodge is true to its name, blending Swiss Alpine style and hospitality in this southern, outdoorsy town. The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the city and the lake. This means the 15-minute walk downhill is a panoramic stroll, but the walk back up is quite strenuous. The ride to the ski slopes of The Remarkables takes 40 minutes, and many guests arrive with a car here.
