Near Kenai Lake on the peninsula of the same name, this wilderness lodge (part of the Princess Cruises family of hotels) welcomes a steady flow of pre- and post-cruise tour groups May-September. The resort is truly in the wilderness, as it sits 150 miles south of Anchorage; shuttles are often part of the package.
