Location and History
This inn, whose Craftsman-style buildings date to 1913, sits across the street from the academic buildings of the University of Virginia. Featuring hardwood charms and Spartan furnishings, it lacks some accessibility features, such as an elevator, that would make it appealing to a wide spectrum of guests.
Oakhurst previously functioned as student apartment buildings. Original built-in Craftsman cabinetry still stands, as does the painted trim work.
