U.S. Customs and Border Protection enrollment centers for Trusted Traveler Programs will not reopen until Sept. 8 at the earliest. CBP closed the centers in March at the onset of the Covid-19 epidemic in the United States.
Interviews set at the centers for Sept. 7 or earlier must be rescheduled through applicants' Trusted Traveler Program online accounts. Applicants for the Global Entry program who have received conditional approval for their applications still can use the Enrollment on Arrival option.
CBP has extended enrollment deadlines for the program as the centers remain closed. Applicants now have 545 days from their approval date to complete the enrollment process, and current program members who apply for renewal will have their benefits extended up to 18 months.
