KLM Royal Dutch Airlines on March 28 began operating a new route between Amsterdam and Austin, Texas, the carrier announced Tuesday.
The route will operate for the summer season three times weekly—on Monday, Thursday and Saturday—with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft configured with World Business Class flatbeds with direct aisle access, HD entertainment and on-board Wi-Fi, according to KLM. It is the carrier's second Texas destination, along with Houston, and the first time it is offering a nonstop from Amsterdam to Austin, according to KLM.
